Message From a Pop Tab Donor
We received this beautiful email last week and would like to share it with you! Our volunteers are the heart of the Ronald McDonald House! Thank you all!!
“I just had to email to share a great story about one of your volunteers. We dropped off pop tabs on Friday. A volunteer happened to be standing at the door when we arrived. Immediately he smiled and was very friendly. We asked him what to do with the pop tabs and he got excited and said he'd show us what to do. So we ran out and got them. We didn't tell him that it was approximately 90 lbs worth. You should have seen his eyes when we walked in! He helped us dump them into the box, one baggy and one coffee can at a time. We talked the whole time we were dumping. I regret that I didn't ask his name, as he made a great impression on us.”

Exciting News About MacAttack 2010
Since its inception, the MacAttack 5K Run and 3K Family Fun Walk has supported the Ronald McDonald House. We are happy to share that beginning in 2010, Brighter Tomorrows, an area support group serving as an outreach for families touched by childhood cancer, will be taking over the planning and implementation of the event. The partnership between Brighter Tomorrows and Ronald McDonald House continues to flourish and we are thrilled to promote and share information about the 2010 event with you...

Cans for Kids A Great Sucess! 
Cans for Kids organizers wish to thank the community for the wonderful participation in the February 6th collection event. They collected a record number of cans and several people included their pop tabs with the donation. Thank you to all who came out on a bright, sunny winter day to help the children at the Ronald McDonald House.
The next Cans for Kids collection is scheduled for Saturday, June 5th.
