For two days in February, things heated up at the Ronald McDonald House of Rochester with our first-ever Winter Wonder Dayz. In an effort to break up the cold winter days, families came together through activities, conversation and laughter. From back-to-back House dinners, to projects and games – our family activity coordinator Carmen made sure families had two fun-packed days.
“Winter Wonder Dayz was a huge success,” said family activity coordinator, Carmen. “Parents met, mingled and laughed together while the kids released some energy and had a blast!”

Paw Pals Visit
Nothing warms you up quite like a good cuddle from our Paw Pals. Lexie made a special Winter Wonder Dayz visit and made sure nobody left without a smile on their face!
Visiting Artist Spectacular
Another family-favorite activity is our Visiting Artist Program. In honor of Winter Wonder Dayz, kids got creative with decorating glass plates, painting marbles, making foam dough, glittering pinecones and creating large colored ice cubes.
Our Winter Wonder Dayz scavenger hunt took participants all around the House searching high and low for Ronald McDonald House icons and treasures.
