Keeping Families Close
Each day at the Ronald McDonald House® of Rochester, MN we have the privilege of meeting families who have come to Rochester to seek medical care for their ill children. When many of these families arrive at our House, they’re facing some of the longest and hardest days of their lives. During an uncertain time, the families we serve can be certain of one thing – the Ronald McDonald House® will keep their family close to the care and resources they need.
In 2015, the Ronald McDonald House® of Rochester, MN kept 863 families close when they needed it most. Families visited from nearly ever state and from 16 countries. It was our distinct honor to serve every family who called the Ronald McDonald House® their “home-away-from-home” this past year.
The need for our care and support exceeds our current capacity. In 2015, 1,081 families were unable to stay with us because when they called, we had no rooms available. It is indeed heartbreaking to tell a family we don’t have a room for them. Our team is actively working on action plans to grow our mission with an expanded House so we are able to serve even more families in the future while turning fewer away.
We are proud to share our 2015 Impact Report with you. In this report you will find statistics on our families, volunteers and financials.
