Thank you to everyone who attended and supported our 14th annual Hearts & Diamonds Spectacular. The evening of diamonds, dining and dancing supporting our organization was held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Somerby Golf Club. Over 270 attendees and sponsors joined together to raise over $200,000 to support the children and families who call the Ronald McDonald House® of Rochester, MN their “home-away-from-home”.
This year’s guests of honor were the Capesius family of Algona, Iowa. Bryce Capesius, 16-years-old, stayed at the Ronald McDonald House of Rochester, MN while receiving treatment for a brain tumor. Bryce’s father shared Bryce’s story of courage and strength with attendees of the event. “The Ronald McDonald House® is a place of love,” Joe told the Post Bulletin. “The House’s big picture window that faces north has a big red heart on it because they are all about love. You can tell they have a focus, desire and mission to help whoever they can.”
