Development Officer (full-time position; Monday – Friday, primary hours during normal business hours)

The Development Officer will assist the Development Director in building and sustaining a comprehensive fundraising strategy at the Ronald McDonald House of Rochester.

This individual may be responsible for one or more of the following focus areas: Corporate Giving, Special Events, Grants and Foundations, Planned Giving, Direct Mail, and Major Gifts.

The Development Officer will meet annual fundraising goals by identifying new donors, promoting positive donor relations, modeling donor stewardship and helping advance outreach in a manner consistent with the excellence of the organization.

Bachelor’s Degree and successful professional experience in development required.

Administrative Support (full-time position; Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.)

The Administrative Support position supports program, business, and operations of the Ronald McDonald House of Rochester in order to fulfill and advance the mission of the organization. Responsibilities include efficient, accurate work in bookkeeping, data entry, report generation, and record keeping. In addition, the position provides administrative support including appointment scheduling, meeting preparation, creation of correspondence and presentations.

The Administrative Support position performs these duties in a professional, courteous, accurate and responsible manner while maintaining confidentiality.

Three years of successful administrative assistant and/or business/finance support required.
